Fes to Rabat

Day Trip From Fez to Rabat City

After having breakfast, we will take the road that leads to Rabat, the capital of the Moroccan Kingdom; it is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of Bou Regreg River.

Like the metropolis of Casablanca Rabat has a long and rich history with a big number of monuments to show for it but, it is quieter and more provincial.

The city is well renowned for its beautiful domes, minarets, wide avenues and green spaces.

Once you arrive, take a guided sightseeing tour across the city’s most important attractions.

Visit the Kasbah les Oudaîa, the oldest part of the city with its narrow streets, which are lined with whitewashed houses.

The views over the river and ocean are breathtaking from here.

See The Hassan Tower, Rabat’s most famous landmark and would have been the second largest mosque, but the Sultan Yacoub al-Mansour died before it was finished.

The tower’s design is similar to the Giralda in Seville, and the Koutoubia in Marrakesh.

Visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, The Chellah and more…

At the end of this trip you will be taken back to Fez.
